Imeldapede
Well, it's 10.30 at night and I'm at my friends house, babysitting their two children and guinea pigs and feeling very very sleeeeeeepy.
Did a little bit of drawing tonight feeling pretty rusty. Trying to work out the right kind of head for a character called Imeldapede who is a sort of pantomime millipede. She's not the kind of girl who keeps her Jimmy Choos in a cupboard!! Just a had a micro brainwave! I could put her on mojizu in three sections to show that she is long, long, long [you normally upload one character per picture but I could upload a third of a character per picture!].
Yesterday and the day before I added some Adsense Adunits to my website. The first time I tried anything like that... I rather like them. They show that my site means business... I think they authenticate it in a funny way. They pick up on certain keywords on my site, like "balloon" which is OK, but it's funny because the ads are for really kitsch things like balloon wedding bouquets. But it works, because those are things that inspired me to make mad balloon character sculptures in the first place! So it all works. Luckily I'm into anything goes, and the more the merrier. Make the site a bizarre bazaar.
That's enough for now, back to Imeldapede's visage. Well, maybe she can just have a millipede head - yikes!Labels: adsense, insect, millipede, mojizu, shoes

My first posting
Ha ha!
Hello!
My name is Frankie, I'm an artist. I create lively, bright, effervescent stuff. I do illustration, animation and photography. The illustration and animation features characters that I've invented and photography is something I'm just playing with presently. I used to do 'fine art' but now I'm more interested in making things that are more commercial and more directly entertaining. Easier to 'get'? I don't really think there's so much difference between fine art and any other art except that you mostly find the fine art in a gallery and it can feel a bit obscure...
