Cut-out scenes inspired by Mexican festival decorations, English paper doilies and Japanese stencil design. You could cut them out of a single piece of paper and hold up the paper with none of the elements dropping out. This gives the scenes a feeling of connectedness - all the characters, symbols and patterns in the picture hang together!
